Mobile Orchestra

AKQA wanted a memorable, simple holiday card. We teamed up with the Pacific Chamber Symphony to create an interactive Mobile Orchestra that turns phones into musicians, in which groups of friends sync their phones to play a rendition of "Carol of the Bells." Each device is assigned one of 12 musicians—from the conductor, to the cellist, to the harpist— and when the symphony begins, the phones play together in harmony.
