While setting up an internal social media department to promote the Oculus Quest, my partner and I discovered a trend: people loved sharing videos of themselves getting scared in VR games. Naturally, we thought Halloween would be a great holiday to build content around. We started the month with spooky Oculus posts, leading up to a campaign where we invited followers to share their horrified reactions to VR games. Influencers amplified it, and the best reactions made it to a recap video that we shared on Halloween.
